My dad just sent me an email full of images from the late 30's to early 40's. They are all via the Library of Congress website. The images were taken by photographers for the Farm Security Administration, an organization that was set up during this time to fight rural poverty by documenting it on film. It is such an incredible treat to see color images from this time.
